About Us
HISTORY
22 Park Avenue was founded in May of 2002. The band’s founders recruited the best musicians from several bands in which they played, plus a few band directors and music teachers from the area. Under the direction of Bob Curran, 22 Park Avenue was able to get up and running very quickly. 22 Park Avenue has performed at community celebrations, holiday parties, summer music festivals, swing dances, benefits, retirement communities, and church events.
We currently operate under the direction of Matt Matekovic. As a music instructor, Matt brings a level of insight that launches 22 Park Avenue to a higher level of musicianship. Our sound and production quality has improved greatly and we’re ready to take on the world!
